Digital accessibility, not just web accessibility
Real accessibility across every digital touchpoint: web, mobile apps, kiosks, in-store terminals and voice. Everything your product puts in front of people, without exception.
The problem we solve.
Web accessibility is a legal minimum, but most products today also have mobile apps, voice assistants, in-store devices and newsletters. Digital accessibility covers all those touchpoints and treats them as a system, not as separate audits.
We apply WCAG 2.2, EN 301 549 and each platform's specific criteria (iOS, Android, voice) with the same level of rigour applied to the web.
What is included
- WCAG 2.2 AA audit applied to web, app and other digital front ends
- Assistive technology testing on each platform (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Remediation plan prioritised by real-user impact
- Accessibility guidelines integrated into the design system
- Hands-on training for the product and development team
Our process for Digital accessibility.
Inventory
Mapping of every digital touchpoint and the assistive technologies relevant to your audience.
Audit
Assessment combining automatic tools, manual review and testing with real users.
Remediation
Implementation of the prioritised fixes and setup of continuous regression tests.
Difference from traditional web accessibility
Web accessibility covers what happens in the browser. Digital accessibility also covers what happens outside it: a mobile app with Dynamic Type problems, an in-store kiosk without tactile alternatives, a voice assistant that doesn't understand regional accents. Each platform has its own rules and patterns - treating them as a single audit is the best way to leave 30% of your audience behind.
